Will the AI stuff keywords into the resume per the JD?
Yes, and it will fabricate experience you don't have. Verify every added item, especially numbers and project names. To match the JD the AI plants keywords mechanically (SEO-stuffing) which reads unnaturally and actually hurts.
Is it appropriate to customize multiple resume versions at once?
You can have it rewrite in separate passes. Against 3 different JDs have the AI customize 3 versions of the same resume, asking each time "what was changed to match the JD." Time-efficient and you can see targeted optimization logic while learning the method.
