Prompt Content
I'm feeling confused and uncertain but I'm not sure what to ask. In the conversation that follows, I need you to ask me a series of closed-ended questions, each with multiple-choice answers. I will choose the answer that best fits my situation. Based on my responses, your task is to gradually identify the source of my confusion. Rules: You can only ask one question per round. The question should be closed-ended. You must provide multiple-choice answers for each question.

FAQ
Can binary-choice questions find the real source of confusion?
They make fuzzy feelings concrete. After a dozen rounds of either-or, the AI will ask fine-grained dimensions ("dissatisfied with work or with yourself"), and by then you typically have much sharper clarity about your distress. Don't expect direct answers; the value is "helping clarify the question."
What if the options don't match my real situation?
The prompt gives only two options, and sometimes the true answer is "neither." Say "neither option fits; my situation is closer to X," and have the AI proceed based on your addition. Don't force-pick, which will lead the diagnosis astray.
How do I use this prompt?
